This is an excellent opportunity for an Immigration Solicitor to join a reputable law firm in Greater Manchester. The successful candidate will be an experienced in Immigration Law used to dealing with Corporate and Private funded clients in the following areas of law; Refugee & Human Rights Law, European Law, Work & Study in the UK, Family Visits and Settlement, Deportation Appeals, Naturalisation, Public Law and Sponsor Licensing for Businesses and Educational Institutions.

THE ROLE
*Manage own caseload of corporate and private clients
*Actively manage and develop client relationships including day to day contact with key clients and preparing a variety of business and personal immigration applications
*Provide advice on complex UK immigration, appeals and litigation issues
*Work with clients on appeals to the Immigration Tribunal against decisions involving such matters as the UK Border Agency refusing to grant a visa extension, permanent residency (indefinite leave to remain), or refusing to issue entry clearance to enter the UK or deporting an individual from the UK
*Ensure immigration knowledge up to date and is familiar with all relevant legislation
*Liaise closely with other fee earners in the team and with clients
*Liaise directly with the UKBA
*Completion of forms, letters and applications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience managing a caseload with Immigration and/or Asylum matters and possess excellent attention to detail and experience using Microsoft office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
