Crown Worldwide Group are currently recruiting for a Risk & Compliance Advisor to join their fast-paced Risk & Compliance team.
Where you will be based

This role will be office based in Enfield with the requirement to visit our major London sites.

What is a Risk & Compliance Advisor to us?

This role will be pivotal in the ongoing success of the business in the UK and Ireland. The role will be based in Southbury Road, EN1 but will be expected to travel to all Crown UK&I locations as required. Due to the specific risk profile of Crown UK&I any candidate must be located no longer than 1 hour travel time from the Crown office at Enfield EN1

The role requires a dynamic, insightful, and agile Risk and Compliance Advisor to business partner key stakeholders in Crown UK&I to manage their risks.

What you will do

  • Provide the directors and senior management teams of Crown Records Management and Fine Art competent advice, support, and guidance on managing their health, safety, environmental, quality risks.
  • Development, implementation and management of risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work.
  • Development, implementation and management of Risk and Compliance policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Ensure that each business area is effectively managing and improving their suite of compliance risks and metrics.
  • Ensure Crown Records Management and Fine Art maintain and continually improve their ISO 45001, 9001, 14001, 27001 certifications, feeding into the Crown Integrated Management System.
  • Manage any non-conformances, using Crowns IOF system.
  • Report and investigate all accidents, incidents and near misses, Including RIDDOR
  • Support the implementation of a new integrated accident, incident, near miss and investigation system within Crown.
  • Facilitate local business specific H&S committee meetings.
  • Plan and carry out audits, inspections, and reviews within based on Crown UK&I risk profile.
  • Support the Risk and Compliance Officer in providing information and data for RFP and bid writing.
  • Ensure Crown maintains its suite of certifications and awards such as Safe Contractor, CHAS, ROSPA Gold etc.
  • Provide monthly data driven dashboards and insights on compliance levels in their area of operations.
  • Ensure the local business continuity plans and disaster recovery processes are up to date, relevant and tested.
  • Support the Risk & Compliance Training Manager in developing and conducting Risk and Compliance Training for Crown UK&I staff and subcontractors/service partners.
  • Contribute, develop, implement and mange Risk and Compliance communications, initiatives, and projects.

  • Experience in data security/GDPR desirable.
  • Experience in Business Continuity a distinct advantage.
  • Ability to build relationships with and influence all levels.
  • Must be able to drive recommendations and influence others to by using judgment that is consistent with policies, practices, standards, procedures, regulations and/or law.
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and prioritisation skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Ensuring the above is delivered with a customer focused approach.
  • Experience in delivering Risk and Compliance based training.
  • MS Office Suite
  • Knowledge and experience of using online and app-based H&S management tools such ss accident reporting, audit, and testing/inspection tools.

Qualifications

  • Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Minimum Tech IOSH membership (or equivalent)
  • Minimum IEMA Certificate (or equivalent)
  • BS/ISO Lead Auditor (desirable)
  • DSE Assessor (desirable)
  • Manual Handling Assessor (desirable)
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification (desirable)
