HR Administrator
Job Description
Age UK have an exciting opportunity for a HR Administrator to join our People team!
This varied role will support the HR Operations Manager and HR Operations Coordinators to deliver a customer-centric general HR Administration service to the Age UK Group.
This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced HR professional or someone who is looking to kick-start their career in a HR administration function.
The successful candidate will be a strong team player with excellent administrative and IT skills, with the ability to multi-task and adapt in an ever-evolving environment.
With our hybrid model, this allows colleagues to work in a way that suits them with some office attendance to build great relationships but also balanced nicely with the flexibility that working from home can bring, helping us all to manage our work and home commitments more effectively. In this role, you’ll work between home and our South Devon office, situated in Ashburton.
Age UK Charity Grade 8N.
Must haves:
- Some experience of working in an administration role or use of MS Office / emails and database.
- Proven ability to use Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
- Proven ability to use Microsoft Excel to set up spreadsheets, analyse and process data to illustrate salary costs and forecasts.
- Results focussed with the ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining a focus on professional standards.
- A team player with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with a wide range of people.
- Good communicator working across numerous teams and providing a service to a remote team.
- Sound planning and organising ability and good attention to detail.
Great to haves:
- Experience in using Midland HR payroll system (iTrent) would be desirable.
- A basic understanding of statutory requirements regarding HR Administration procedures and employment law.
