Job Description
A well established Housing Association are looking for a Housing Options Officer to join their team on a temporary basis with potential for extension. You will be responsible for the line management of staff and operational oversight of assessments, case management and working with external partners.

£25ph paid weekly via umbrella
Monday to Friday – b37 area
Temporary – 16 plus weeks

The responsibilities of this Housing Options Officer role are:
- To support in relation to specific areas of rough sleepers, domestic abuse, young people
- To oversee, monitor, record and report on cases who are homeless and threatened homelessness, and to ensure enquiries are made and robust to determine what duty is owed to customers under the Homeless Reduction Act
- Complex cases ensuring that all necessary paperwork and records are effectively maintained and are accessible.
- To ensure customers have a range of methods to obtain quality and informative advice, information and signposting of housing options.
