Housing Advice Centre Manager

We are currently looking for a Housing Advice Centre Manager based in Ilford to manage the advice and assessment function within the housing Services and deputise for the Principal Office Advice and Assessment as appropriate.

your main duties will include the following;
– Responsible for the management & performance of the housing Advice Centre
– Make links between strategic & operational planning
– Deputise for the Principal Officer Advice and Assessment
– Write complex reports and briefing notes on policy and operational issues for the Principal Officer Advice and Assessment
– Attend a wide rage of management and council meetings, and meetings with external bodies
– To be responsible for the effective management projects
– To Carry out stator reviews under the Housing Act 1996 Part VI and Part VII and provide guidance and support to senior staff who are also responsible for conducting such reviews.

Experience
– Previous experience in homelessness/advice work
– Experience of managing changes
– Experience of managing and developing successful teams
– Consistent achievements as a manager in homelessness/ Advice work, or comparable organisation
