Housekeepers – Care Home

My client is a new opened, privately owned residential care home for the elderly in St Albans, Hertfordshire. They are currently seeking a wide range of staff including at least 3 Housekeepers to join their team as soon as possible.

As a Housekeeper you are required to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness in bedrooms and public areas within the Home. Your duties and responsibilities will include cleaning and laundry

The successful candidate will ideally have relevant experience in a similar role, display a positive and flexible aptitude to team working, demonstrate initiative and self-motivation, demonstrate, understanding of cleaning methods and materials used. Exhibit a caring and understanding attitude towards the residents, posses good IT skills, and have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. You should be prepared to undergo training as and when required.

Salary is £26,000per year. Full time 36 hours per year – shifts worked on a rota basis 8 am to 3.30 pm or 12.30 pm to 7 pm ( you will be required to work at least one of each shift hours per week)
