Hospitality (Multi) Regional Trainer – Herts

Are you experienced in the Hospitality & Catering Industry, to management level, with experience in more than one area of expertise? Are you a qualified NVQ Assessor or interested in becoming an NVQ Assessor?

One of the UK’s leading training providers delivering Apprenticeships in the workplace are expanding their team and are looking for Hospitality Trainer Assessors to join their team in Hertfordshire.

These roles are being offered on a F/T permanent basis where you will be working out in the field assessing learners in the workplace across locations such as Hertford, Stevenage, Bishops Stortford and Harlow.

This exciting position will allow you to draw on your experience of the Hospitality industry to provide learners in their workplaces with support and training, enabling them to realise their career potential.

Your specific responsibilities will include:
* Visiting learners in the workplace and assessing/tutoring them in their NVQ/QCF qualifications
* Delivering full Apprenticeship frameworks, including Functional Skills, BTEC (Tech Cert), ERR & PLTS
* Maintaining documentation on learners’ progression
* Planning and implementing initial assessments and course reviews with learners
* Delivering learner portfolios to agreed standards
* Working as part of a regional team
* Building and developing relationships with Employers

The ideal candidate will have a background in the Hospitality industry, ideally working in a variety of environments and roles across Front and Back of House, to supervisory or managerial level. You will have food production level of knowledge in the kitchen.

The role is open to both qualified and unqualified Assessors.

Qualified candidates will have either D32/D33/A1 or TAQA and ideally have experience delivering full Apprenticeship frameworks out in the workplace. Unqualified candidates will have strong and current occupational competency and a passion for developing others. For all candidates it is essential that you have excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and manage your own time.

a starting salary between £26,478 – £27,738pa
