Hospital Porter

Acorn is recruiting on behalf of our client for on-going temporary Hospital Porters required to start ASAP.

Working hours will be four on four off 12 hour days 10.00am to 10.00pm shifts to include weekends.

This is an ongoing assignment to at least the end of March 2016. You will work as part of a team to provide a high quality Portering Service, extending care and consideration to patients, clients, staff and visitors.

There is a physical element to this role due to the nature of the work and the design of the hospital. You will need to be able to cope with Trauma patients being brought in by air ambulance and also the deceased when transferring them from the ward to the mortuary.

Full on-the-job training is provided and could be the stepping stone to a full time position.

You will need to have a fully enhanced current DBS check to be already in place.
