History Teacher

Salary: £144 per day

Castle Education are working with a fantastic secondary school in Tadcaster/Selby area that are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and engaging History teacher to join their department.

The school is looking for a History Teacher for a long-term temporary position, up till the summer. The school is looking for a History Teacher that must be able to teach across the whole of KS3, KS4, and KS5.

The daily rate for this role ranges between £144 t0 £150

Key skills required to be a successful supply teacher include:

• Commitment to working with pupils of different backgrounds and different levels of ability
• Enthusiasm for the subjects you teach – proven specialism in History at KS3 and 4 and 5
• The ability to manage classes and deal with challenging behaviour
• Patience and understanding
• To be able to use your own initiative
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Qualification in a relevant subject specialism
