We are working with a well-regarded Secondary School in Clacton that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher to join their successful Humanities department. Job Overview:
- This school caters for students aged 11-16.
- Full-time, Monday – Friday, History Teacher role.
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated History lessons across KS3-KS4.
- Inspire students through topics including British history, world history, conflict, and historical change.
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress to support strong attainment.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and discussion.
- Work collaboratively with the Humanities department and wider school staff.
- Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities.
- Encourage students to develop analytical thinking, research, and written communication
- skills . - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching History at secondary level (KS3-KS4).
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for History.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage learners of varying abilities.
- Excellent classroom management and organisational
- skills .
- A proactive, positive, and collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
- Strong communication and relationship-building
- skills .
