Job Description
Project Centre, part of Marston Holdings, is a leading design, engineering, and landscape architecture consultancy whose highly talented people are passionate about creating places that are attractive, innovative, sustainable, and safe.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Highways Engineer to join our team based at our Ashford office. You will join a vibrant team and work on major prestigious projects within London and across the UK.
What you will be doing
- Supporting the engineering function of Project Centre in the delivery of highways design and civil engineering.
- Provide support and project related task management for junior staff and to undertake technical tasks assigned by project managers and senior managers.
- Ensure tasks are delivered within deadline and to a high standard of quality.
- Day to day supervision and management of junior staff and assistant engineers.
- Co-ordination of project delivery where other design teams or service areas are involved.
The ideal candidate will have
- Degree or equivalent
- Proven experience of Highways
- Be Working towards professional membership ICE/CIHT
- Technical knowledge of highways engineering
- Experience using CAD.
- Knowledge of Civils 3D
- Knowledge and experience of financial management.
- Detailed knowledge of highways and traffic engineering and the ability to assist to develop schemes from inception through to completion.
