Location: Falkirk

Monday to Friday, 42 hours per week
Salary up to £43,200plus overtime

My Client, an established and major player in the HGV Market, is looking to expand the team in their busy and modern Workshop. They are looking to recruit an experienced HGV Tractor and Trailer Technician / HGV Fitter for their Falkirk site.

Your remit as a HGV Mechanic will be to carry out the full cycle of Repairs, Servicing, MOT work to a high standard and help the team achieve productivity targets in a range of Heavy Goods Vehicles and Trailers, your work will be varied including:

Routine & Planned Servicing
Diagnostic Work
MOT Preparation
Vehicle Repairs
Tachograph Maintenance

We are looking for HGV Technicians/Fitters who have experience of working on a wide range of Commercial Vehicles, Tractor and Trailer Units up to and including 44 tonne.
The most suitable HGV Mechanic will be fully qualified, to either City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 standard and have a Class II or Class I HGV Driving Licence. In addition the ideal candidate will have some experience within a HGV Workshop working on a variety of Heavy Goods Vehicles including knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
