HGV Class 1 Driver – Wednesday to Sunday

Salary: £13.8 per hour

Our customer in the Coleshill, Birmingham area is currently expanding their fleet. As a result, there is a slots available for positions on a Wednesday – Sunday basis.

This is a great opportunity to secure a regular role with work all year round, steady shifts and good hours. It is an excellent way to get connected with a well-established business. We look to take on professional drivers who can take on the company’s ethos and assist us in the support of our client’s busy operation.

Drivers will be undertaking a variety of work including automotive and trunking work on a curtain sider with no manual handling involved. You will work around 11 – 13 hours per shift. We can look to work with your preference of work, so if you prefer easier trunks then we can accomodate this for you.

Working Hours

Start times vary from early morning to late afternoon, meaning we can arrange the shift to suit you. We have shift start times ranging from 06:00 to 14:00 so we can be flexible with your preference.

Pay Rates

* Days – £13.8 (PAYE) or £13 (LTD)

* Afternoons/Nights £12.50 (PAYE) or £14 (LTD)

* Saturday £15

* Sunday £16

Average weekly earnings of £750 (LTD) or £700 (PAYE)

For this position you will need to have at least 12 months experience on class 1, Ideally general haulage or automotive. You must also have no more than 6 points for minor offences.
