Job Title: HGV 2 Multi Drop Delivery Driver

Location: Slough, Berkshire

Salary: £26,000 – £26,910per year initially

Job Type: Full Time, Temp- Perm

Start Date: Immediately

OTE once permanent is in excess of £26,000 – £26,910 per year)

Applicants must have previously been a Class II /HGV2 Multi-Drop Driver with a minimum of 1 year’s commercial driving experience. It is essential that all applicants are CPC qualified. Applicants must also have a digital tachograph card and no more than 6 points on their licence. (No DR10’s or IN10’s) Due to the nature of the product, there is heavy lifting involved so applicants should be able to lift heavy items comfortably.

Ideally applicants will have previous experience in delivering food or beverage items, however anyone with HGV 2 multi drop experience, who fits the criteria will be considered

The OTE is made up of a base salary, Bonuses, commission. In addition there are also yearly bonuses

Key Objectives and Responsibilities of Role

To deliver products to customers in and around the Berkshire, Oxfordshire, London areas. Approximately 30-50 drops per day

To upsell products as required, and to generate new business on your route
To organise the delivery notes into the most cost effective / time saving route.
To load vehicle on a daily basis with the correct amount of product
To complete all deliveries as instructed on the delivery note.
To collect all empty containers at customer sites.
To make sure the delivery note is signed, dated and empties recorded, returning this back to the Manager on a daily basis.
To collect on demand, used units from prospective customer sites.
To behave, at all times, in a responsible, polite and professional manner, acting as an ambassador for the company
To secure and maintain client loyalty through building good customer relations
To anticipate customer needs and respond promptly to any special service requests
To drive in a considerate manner, keeping vehicle to company standard ready for weekly vehicle inspection.
To alter route, when necessary, to accommodate urgent deliveries.
Report back to the office any customer address changes and any misuse of equipment by customers.
