Regional Health & Safety Business Partner (Field Based – UK)
The region will cover from Norfolk, across to Coventry and down to Basingstoke.

Job Introduction
As a Health & Safety Business Partner you have a fantastic opportunity to work with your stakeholders on all things health and safety related, ensuring our colleagues and customers get home safe and well.
Main Responsibilities
- Work with / support managers in supporting operational health, safety and wellbeing matters to support a safe, healthy, and supportive working environment.
- Provide first line support to all colleagues, where necessary, to ensure a smooth experience when using H&S systems and maintain these systems.
- Conducting regional Health, Safety and Environmental Assurance Reviews/Audits on a regular basis, focusing on the key risks identified by the business. Ability to translate findings into a report, driving actions, whilst providing support and encouraging performance improvements across sites.
- Ensure that effective risk assessment processes are in place for all the site activities, including general risk assessments, COSHH, Manual Handling, Noise, DSE, Stress Management and other statutory requirements. Practical experience in producing suitable and sufficient risk assessments.
- Work with the H&S Team and other business stakeholders to identify additional adhoc reports or key documentation from the H&S systems that will support key business updates.
- Responsible for identifying hazards and communicating those hazards to management, advise on actions to prevent the realisation of those hazards.
- Responsible for supporting the Head of Health and Safety in driving the culture that every employee has a responsibility to proactively manage risk and ensure a safe work environment.
- Accountable for supporting the business with investigating accidents, dangerous occurrences, near misses and ensuring the implementation of effective corrective action.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience of working in a Health and Safety role, Qualified Lead Auditor advantageous.
- Experience of establishing and implementing Occupational Health procedures advantageous.
- Ability to support and advise sites on system use, policy, and procedures.
- Must possess an eye for detail.
- Used to working at pace in a fast-moving organisation.
- Experienced in managing multiple sites.
- Highly competent in standard Microsoft software (Excel, PowerPoint & Teams essential).
- Experience of working with H&S Management systems.
- Good communication skills, ability to compile reports and communicate to others.
- Ability to engage with colleagues, customers, and suppliers to understand their needs and wants.
- Good interpersonal skills and an ability to work with people of all levels within the business.

- Highly collaborative when working with other HR and business colleagues to achieve common goals.
- Ability to work autonomously and on own initiative.
