Health Care Assistant (HCA)

Are you a Health Care Assistant with an excellent elderly care track record, with the desire to work for a care home that offer a great support team?

My client is a well-established Nursing Home and are currently recruiting for their home based in Axbridge with an outstanding reputation for the specialist dementia and nursing care in Somerset.

This particular position is in a detahced edwardian cottage hospital which has been renovated into a nursing home which specializes in dementia care in Axbridge and can boast about the level of luxury care they give to residents with many amenities such as a large lounge and an amazing garden with great views also being close to Somerset levels and Cheddar which makes it a great place to be…for residents and staff.

As a Health Care Assistant (HCA), you will be:

• To deliver “hands on” care to residents in a person centered way.
• Support residents to enjoy a good quality of life.
• Best practice when delivering care.
• Assist residents in all aspects of their physical and emotional needs in line with agreed care plans.
• Contribute to the daily records of residents

Skills & Experience Needed:

• NVQ Level 2 is preferred.
• Experience in a similar setting (desirable)
• Great level of care with an excellent care track record needed
• Be living within travelling distance to Axbrigde.
