Job Title: Health and Social Care Assessor (Elderly / Adult Care)

Location: To visit learners in and around the East of England to include – Thetford, Bury St Edmunds, Ely, Kings Lynn, Downham Market and Diss

KM Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a leading training provider, operating nationally within the WBL sector. We are looking to appoint either a Trainee or Qualified Health and Social Care Assessor, to manage a caseload of learners in and around the East.

Essential Criteria:

– All candidates (Trainee / Qualified) Must hold an NVQ 3 in Care (Adult/Elderly) as a minimum
– Occupational competence / hands on experience within Care (Adult / Elderly care)
– Driver who is happy to travel
– Confident with Maths and English – (grades C or above – or Key/Functional Skills at level 2)
– Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
– Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
– Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learner.

Duties:

– Assess and support learners through full Apprenticeship frameworks in Health and Social Care – Tech Cert, ERR & PLTS.
– Deliver training and support in Functional Skills (Maths / English) to level 2
– Managing a caseload of 50 learners, the successful candidate will plan and coordinate their own diary to ensure learners are being visited in a timely fashion.
– Visiting/observing learners in their place of work to gather evidence towards their Care Apprenticeship/QCF qualifications at levels 2 and 3.
– Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
– Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
– Support, advise and motivate learners.
– Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner`s needs.
– Meet Assessor KPI`s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
