Head of Manufacturing

Salary: £108,000 – £120,000 per year

Our client has experienced a year like no other, and they are looking to appoint an experienced Head of Manufacturing to strengthen their fast paced and reputable manufacturing process.

This role shall be based in West Yorkshire, and it is a permanent role with a very competitive salary and additional bonus/benefits. Key responsibilities:

• You will be operating at a senior level and aligned with SMT you will report to the Plant Manager and board of Directors, having full responsibility for manufacturing process
• Driving forward business objectives; from orders through to manufacturing of finished goods and customer fulfilment
• Strong Leadership and Management; identifying opportunities to develop team members and to motivate and deliver high performing teams
• Delivery of SLA’s across divisions such as, Quality and Cost, Efficiency
• Demonstratable experience of delivering Continuous Improvements initiatives and projects to maximise safety, productivity, growth and cost reduction
• Implementing lean techniques to run an efficient operation, which will contribute to the productivity and overall output of the business
• Ability to forge strong relationships with customers; suppliers and internal areas of the business to ensure products are delivered and customer satisfaction is continuously met

Essential experience:

• An experienced Manufacturing leader working within a similar role or looking to take the next progressive step to a Senior Management position
• Proven leadership qualities with a positive attitude
• Experience of working within a fast paced and strong manufacturing environment (my client is open to experience from various industry background)
• Degree qualified in either operations, engineering or management (desirable)
• Higher Degree in Operations Management (MBA Preferred) is desirable
• Six Sigma Black Belt and or Lean Kaizen Qualified
