Location: Dublin, Ireland (3 days in-office per week)

Salary: €110,000 – €125,000 per annum + Bonus

Join a leading Dublin-based retailer undergoing a significant transformation. We’re seeking a dynamic Head of Data Scientist to establish and lead a greenfield Data Science function, driving innovation and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing Data Science team.
• Recruitment: Proven experience in recruiting top-tier Data Scientists.
• Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive Data Science strategy focused on forecasting and project implementation.
• Greenfield Development: Establish Data Science capabilities from scratch.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven opportunities.
• Innovation: Drive adoption of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Proven leadership in Data Science within large enterprises.
• Strong background in forecasting and predictive modeling.
• Experience with greenfield development is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.

Requirements:

• Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in Python or R.
• Ability to work in Dublin office 3 days a week.
