Head of Credit Control

Salary: £43,200 per year

Our client is a well established business with outstanding career prospects and attractive benefits. This will suit credit controllers seeking to make the next step into team leader or those already working as head of credit control, accounts manager, senior credit controller or similar.

Varied responsibilities will include:

Managing a small team covering Credit Control and payment allocations.

•Managing a debt book of approx. £48M with over 5,000 customers.

•Ensuring Credit Control function has adequate cover at all times.

•Recruiting, coaching and developing staff

•Obtaining credit insurance for customers where necessary.

•Processing and generating monthly statements and direct debit payments.

•Liaising with the sales and depots to resolve outstanding queries.

•Ensuring that all major accounts work to agreed order to cash cycle.

•Daily and month end reporting and account reconciliations.

•Investigating and resolving queries relating to non-payment of invoices.

Your experience/skills:

•You will have good experience of Credit Control, previous Team Leader/Manager experience would be an advantage.

•This position would suit an individual who is driven by results.

•You will have good Excel skills, a polite but tenacious telephone manner and good systems knowledge.

This is a full-time position working the following hours: –

Monday – Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm

Total 40 hours per week

Salary of £43,200per annum
