Job Role – Head Chef – Leading Hospitality Operator:

This role is designed to lead and develop the food operations within this fantastic business. As well as overseeing all marketing and promotional functions within the company, the successful candidate will be involved in dealing with suppliers and ensuring exceptional food standards are maintained throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities – Head Chef – Leading Hospitality Operator:

Dealing with current and new suppliers to the business, as well as solving any issues which may arise
Training managers on new internal programmes
Management of cost control across the business
Creation of new recipes and menus within the business
Driving local and national marketing and promotions
Being the first point of contact for all food quality issues
Maintaining and supporting the delivery of all company Health, Safety, Food Hygiene and COSHH regulations

Must have a huge passion for the food industry
Experience of managing a large volume catering / food based business
Confident in presenting to groups of people
A real passion for food
Hands on catering and craft experience
Innovation and drive
Experience of managing GP and adhering to budgets V sales controls
Good financial acumen
Self motivated
Good communication skills
Ability to work in a busy and sometimes pressurised environment
Computer literate, numerate with very good verbal and interpersonal skills
Experience in dealing with suppliers and purchasing
Experience in stock control
Strong people skills
Excellent attention to detail
