Being a Guaranteed Supply Teacher
We understand there is uncertainty about lack of work when becoming a Supply Teacher. However, we are confident we can offer you regular work, due to the high demand for Secondary Teachers. As a Guaranteed Supply Teacher, the contract offers you an agreed daily rate of pay, even for non-working days, until a suitable placement can be found. Guaranteed Supply Teacher work is available for Secondary Teachers who have the following requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* UK Secondary Teaching experience (5+ years)
* Confident teaching across all secondary year groups
* 2 recent satisfactory references
* Good feedback from schools you are assigned to
* Access to your own vehicle
* Able to travel up to 45 minutes
* Flexible to work between Monday to Friday – 8.15 am – 4 pm
* Available for on the morning teaching jobs
Responsibilities of a Guaranteed Supply Teacher
* Ability to deliver lessons to engage students
* Maintain high standards of behaviour management
* Follow school behaviour plans and policies
* Keep update to date with safeguarding standards and keeping children safe in education
* Review and mark class work
* Provide feedback to relevant staff
