Role Overview:

As a Group Trainee Compliance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring PIB Group’s compliance with regulatory requirements set forth by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). You will collaborate with various departments across the company, working closely with the Group Regulatory Reporting Officer. Your responsibilities will include gathering and analysing data for regulatory reporting, managing the Senior Managers & Certification Regime processes, and supporting the administration of our regulated firms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to gather and analyse data required for regulatory reporting (e.g., RMARs, Competition & Marketing Authority Private Motor Insurance annual returns, FCA Annual Firm Details Reviews, FCA Directory Person Annual Reviews).
  • Ensure the accurate and timely submission of regulatory reporting requirements within specified deadlines.
  • Manage the FCA Senior Managers & Certification Regime approvals and removals processes.
  • Oversee the FCA firm authorization and de-authorization process.
  • Support the divisionalization process for businesses acquired by the Company.
  • Administer and manage the Company’s key Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) systems.

Experience & Skillset:

  • Minimum of 3 ‘A’ levels with grades C or above.
  • Experience in reviewing and interpreting data, and effectively communicating findings would be an advantage.
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and regulatory reporting processes will be provided through on-the-job training.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills.
  • Strong communication and numeracy skills.
  • Team player with excellent attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel.
