Group Reporting Accountant
Job Description
This role would naturally suit and ACA/ACCA qualified accountant looking to make their first move into industry. You will be given your own group of consolidated businesses to take responsibility for. This will involve quarterly reporting and webcasts to bond holders. There will be a lot of opportunity to scale within a complex environment as you will have a lot of exposure and interaction with the wider business, so lots of opportunity to develop!
Due to the nature of the role you will ideally match the following:
* Previous experience of working within a group function
* Previous experience of auditing large businesses
* ACA/ACCA Qualified
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare timely and accurate monthly and quarterly consolidated results
* Group end to end reporting
* Owning the technical accounting areas and the Group accounting policies
* Statutory reporting for multiple entities
* Managing end to end external audit processes including preparing supporting schedules and relevant papers.
* Owning investor reporting for shareholders
* Maintaining a strong, robust financial control environment and performing internal audit
* Continuous process improvement
* Preparation of financial information for ad hoc management requests
* Overseeing and preparing multi book accounting
* Support with finance projects
