A phenomenal career opportunity has arisen with an award winning marketing team for one of the World`s largest Media organisations, working across two flagship portfolios for the Transport and the Healthcare industry sectors. Their multi-awarded products includes large scale exhibitions, conferences, industry leading publications and digital products. As the Group Marketing Manager you would be responsible for a team of 8 staff – made up of Marketing Managers and Marketing Executives reporting into the Marketing Director.

As the Group Marketing Manager you will be responsible for taking the leadership on delivering to the marketing team the overall marketing strategy across the portfolios in line with pre-determined business objectives. The Group Marketing Manager will be a focal point for both industries, fostering key relationships with clients, industry bodies and internal customers. Assessing and implementing development initiatives in line with a clear business strategy. Fully responsible for the line management and motivation of the Marketing team so that they are in a position to hit agreed targets and develop in line with pre-agreed objectives. Experience of marketing management for international events would be an advantage, but is not essential.

It is ESSENTIAL that as the Group Marketing Manager you have the following experience:-

– A proven track record of at least 5 years B2B Marketing Management
– Ability to mentor and coach a Marketing team – previously team management and motivation skills
– Marketing budget management, accurate reporting and forecasting
– Proven experience of implementing, developing and driving strategic detailed Marketing plans/strategies to meet company objectives
– Leadership marketing ability to oversee all campaign activities conducted by the team, advertising and Marketing staff duties
