Oakleaf Partnership are working with a large Not for Profit organisation who are seeking a Group Employee Relations Manager to join and support their people team and cover a 12-month maternity leave. The role will lead a team that provides an efficient and effective employee relations service to the organisation and will lead on complex cases, tribunal claims and the development of the team. The role is home-based but would require flexibility to travel occasionally to sites across the UK.
What is the role?
As Group Employee Relations Manager, you will lead a team of 5 ER specialists, overseeing all employee relations activity across the organisation. You will lead on complex cases, early conciliation and tribunal claims, and work closely with key stakeholders and legal advisors. You will support the development of the team and upskilling initiatives for managers. You will also contribute to the development of the Shared Services strategy. It will also be your responsibility to review MI and identify key themes and trends to develop appropriate solutions. You will be home-based but will be required to travel to various sites across the UK when needed.
Candidate profile/experience
The successful candidate will have previous managerial experience in an employee-relations focused role. You will have excellent influencing, negotiation and stakeholder management skills. You will also be data-driven with the ability to analyse MI. You will be able to adopt a collaborative and commercial approach to risk management. You will also be flexible to travel.
