Salary: £26,000 per year

Job Title: Graphic Designer / Artworking – Marketing Department

Type: Fixed Term Contract – 6 months Maternity

Salary: £26,000per year

Location: Blackpool

This is a key role within the marketing department although the position is a fixed term contract of 6 months, covering maternity. It is an excellent position and opportunity for someone who would like to gain experience in a successful manufacturing, high gloss environment.

Through your understanding of product placement and promotion you will ensure marketing activities are analysed and suggested revisions where necessary are identified.

Role Tasks

Follow design briefs to create artwork for various pages of the catalogue.
Make amends to designs as instructed and marked up by the marketing team.
Selection of appropriate images for page layouts.
Accurate and methodical saving of designs.
Potentially adding logos to product photographs.
Other input into the catalogue design process, as necessary.
Preparation of print ready artwork.
Quality control of own and other designers’ artwork.
