Salary: £28,800 – £30,000 per year
The Graduate / Junior Cisco Support Engineer Role:
Is working for an IT Support / Data Solutions Provider in Brighton who specialise in assisting their global client base to plan, design, build, manage and maintain IT infrastructures. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly accredited, expanding organisation, to engage with the latest technology and implement industry leading solutions.
There is enormous potential to further develop your career as my client is willing to provide relevant training so the successful candidate can grow into a senior figure within the company.
Duties will include:
Working in a post-sales Cisco environment.
Providing support to clients from their vibrant Brighton office as well as at clients sites.
Providing some out of hours support.
Liaising with clients remotely and face-to-face.
The Graduate / Junior Cisco Support Engineer Candidate:
The successful candidate will have:
Experience providing IT support within a commercial environment.
A good knowledge of Cisco, ideally with some experience working with Cisco or in a Cisco environment.
An understanding of Cisco routing and switching.
An understanding of at least one of the following: wireless, networking, security or voice technologies.
Excellent customer service skills.
A confident and proactive approach to all their endeavours.
An ambition to rapidly progress into a senior position within the company.
Key qualifications include:
A recent Computer Science or related degree.
Being CCNA certified is a must, but CCNP qualifications are preferred.
