This is the brief that the managers were given over 10 years ago, when the data and reporting department were founded, the team now sits at 10+ and feature some of the regions strongest analytical and technical talent.
The Role
You will be working with ready to analyse data and your explorations of the data, will see you create reports comprising of written descriptive analysis, supplemented by Power BI visualisations and any other creative ways of demonstrating insight that you can come up. The role varies between exploratory analysis and stakeholder driven requirements, therefore a proactive approach to work and the constant stream of supplementary insight, is the key to success here. Below is an overview of what we are looking for, but we’re really looking for brilliant analytical minds. If you don’t tick all of the criteria, we would still love to review your application:
* A recent or final year graduate, in an IT-related subject; or an analytical & numerical degree like mathematics. We’re looking for a 2:1 grade as a minimum
* A naturally analytical approach to work; you will be using data to uncover trends and inform decision making
* A keen eye for detail; you will be identifying defects and then correcting reports
* An innovating approach to work; the business don’t believe for a second that there isn’t a better way to do things and really welcome idea and innovative solutions
