Position: Graduate Chemist
Location: Middlesbrough
Pay Rate: £30,000
My client, an innovative and dynamic manufacturing company, is looking to recruit an experienced Graduate Chemist to join their established and successful team.
Responsibilities:
• Taking projects from enquiry through to scale-up on our plants
• Organic synthesis and distillations
• Laboratory work
• Working closely with commercial colleagues and customers
• Interaction with Plant Managers and Chemical Engineers
• Supporting and contributing to safety and safe work practices
• Working with R&D and plant personnel to optimise operations and meet business and plant Goals
The ideal candidate will possess:
• Have a minimum of a 2:1 degree in Chemistry
• Must have full UK driving license
• Must be eligible to work in the UK
• Excellent analytical skills
• Previous laboratory experience would be an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good I.T. and practical skills
