Graduate Applications Engineer needed to work for a great engineering company that manufacture equipment used in power.
Situated in Scarborough, the site is accessible from many areas in North Yorkshire. The company is extremely stable with a fantastic order book and needs a Graduate Applications Engineer to aid the current team and support the more senior engineers.
The role presents fantastic opportunities for the successful candidate with technical development, project management exposure and will provide successful stepping stones for a high flying career.
THE ROLE:
*
Supporting the Senior Applications Engineers
*
Aiding in the translation of client requirements and specifications into a costed technical proposal
*
Helping with Negotiations with clients in regards to pricing, commercial T & Cs and Technical content within the business guidelines in order to optimise project profitability
*
Undertake tendering activities including site surveys and client meetings
*
Communicate effectively to hand over successful project orders to different teams.
*
Provide technical support throughout the project
THE PERSON:
*
Mechanical/Electrical Engineering degree
*
Previous commercial/client facing experience valued
*
Enthusiastic and willing to learn
*
Good written and communication skills
*
Must have fantastic IT skills
