GP Referral Instructor

GP Referral Instructor | Hengrove Park Leisure Centre
Part time | Up to 20 hours per week | Up to £14,616.00 plus enhancements for class instruction up to £25.00 per hour
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated GP referral instructor to join our team at Hengrove Park Leisure Centre.

Primary objectives for the GP Referral Instructor will be:
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of everybody using the GP referral programme. To promote the programme with local health professionals and Parkwood Healthcare. To develop and coordinate a local Exercise Referral Program which includes delivery of exercise opportunities for clients with chronic conditions to standard protocols to ensure an appropriate, equitable and accessible service across the Local Authority.
The Person

• The successful post holder must have an Exercise Referral qualification including Cardiac or Cancer rehabilitation (or willingness to gain these additional specialist qualifications).
• Must be able to gain acceptance and respect from clients and the teams involved.
• Must be able to build strong relationships with customers, clients and employees.
• Must be able to communicate at different levels of the organisation, both listen and direct.
• Must be able to demonstrate clear identification with all customer requirements.
• Must be able to maintain and be committed to good employee relations and deliver quality training.
