To apply for this role you must have experience in good in/goods out with a clean driving licence and be over 25 for insurance purposes.
We have an opportunity to join an existing Goods Inwards Team, who are a vital support to the efficient running of the studio.
This will be a varied role encompassing receiving and preparing stock, checking stock in using Google Docs and spreadsheets, as well as moving stock around our buildings.
You will be a key player in maintaining the public face of the company, as a large part of this role is collecting and returning stock to our clients using one of the fleet of vans. Good communication skills and a confident, friendly and personable manner are all important.
The role –
* Involves loading and unloading vehicles and regular lifting, so is physically demanding and requires knowledge of health and safety practices involved with manual handling.
* Computer literacy and familiarity with using spreadsheets. You will need to become familiar with our scheduling system to understand priorities for stock preparation.
* Stock preparation in line with client requirements which includes steaming garments using handheld steamers, preparing products and building flat pack furniture.
* Care and attention to detail is vital in ensuring our clients products are safe in our hands.
* Stock management and movement around the studios to ensure all photographers have what they need in time for their shoots. Then returning stock to other departments and back to Goods Outwards.
* Preparing stock for return, packing neatly to client requirements and checking out to ensure all stock is accounted for.
* Maintaining high levels of safety standards at all times, whilst working closely and collaboratively with all other teams.
You –
* Have a positive, flexible approach, the ability to think on your feet, and be a highly organized multi-tasker who can adapt quickly to changing priorities.
* Should be comfortable working with numbers. IT and tech savvy
* Driving is a large part of the role so you will need to be over 25, able to drive a transit van and have a full clean driving licence.
