The Geography Department

We are looking for a teacher who can make a significant contribution to this strong and successful department and teach Geography across key stages 3, 4 and 5. At GCSE, Geography is a highly popular subject; pupils study the Edexcel Geography specification and have the opportunity to complete their GCSE in Year 10 and then go on to study related qualifications such as GCSE Geology. This provides a stepping stone for A Level Geography, which is a popular A-level subject to study each year. In Geography, pupils strive to succeed at the highest levels and an increasing number of pupils are choosing to study Geography at university. We are looking for teachers who can make a significant contribution to this strong and successful Trust.

The Trust provide a highly academic curriculum and disciplined environment which enables our students to achieve the highest possible qualifications. For students gaining these qualifications and going to university is life transforming. The Trust is absolutely committed to improving the life chances of their students and enabling them to become successful citizens and leaders. Their families come from all parts of the globe, and they are highly aspirational for their children. The Trust shares in this aspiration and do what is needed to help students succeed.
