Prospero Teaching is seeking to recruit a well-qualified and dedicated Geography Teacher, to start in January.

Prospero Teaching is seeking to recruit a well-qualified and dedicated Geography Teacher, to start in January and it would be for a well-run school in Hillingdon.

The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching Geography and will be able to motivate, elevate and challenge students to produce the highest quality work and achieve high academic standards.

The ideal candidate:

• Has a proven History to secure excellent pupil results in Geography GCSE exams
• Can inspire and lead high quality teaching, learning and assessment
• Is dynamic and an ambitious practitioner, who can build on the success of the subject and ensure good progress for all pupils
• Has experience of effective teaching and supporting pupils with a range of SEN, behavioural and academic needs.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent (to be offered supply teaching work)
• Previous experience working in a UK school would be ideal
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Be willing to register with Prospero Teaching and complete all required vetting checks
• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
