General Operative/Driver

Salary:

Rate of pay £13.8 – £15dependant on experience

Hours: 7:15. am -16:30 pm Mon-Thurs and Friday 12:25 pm finish.

Requirements:

• Good communication skills
• Clean driving licence and counter balance fork lift licence are all essential.
• Experience in an Industrial Engineering environment would be advantageous.

Duties are as follows:

• Delivering to Customers
• Driving a fork lift truck
• Site work/installations at customer’s premises
• Drilling
• Folding steel
• Using a guillotine
• Cutting material on band saws
• Assembly work
• Presswork
• Assisting laser cutting operations
• Upkeep of shop floor ensuring areas are tidy and safe
• This position also involves general maintenance of the factory, general labouring and assisting steel fabricators on site, fitting jobs.
• Operating a laser cutter
