Salary: £60,000 per year
General Call Centre Manager is required for well established growing company in the Staffordshire area. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker who looks after the overall operation of the business. Continuously improving margins and profits within the business, the General Call Centre Manager will create and sustain a highly motivated team with a focus on the growth and development of all team members. Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced General Manager within the Travel industry, located in Staffordshire, to rise to this new challenge.
Responsibilities:
A highly successful growing company with a turnover in excess of £25 million turnover, and a team of 50 colleagues, some of the responsibilities of this role include:
*Driving Business Performance – Manages the overall running of various departments within a company including the Finance, Operations, Sales and Marketing departments and Customer Service in a unified way
*Leading and Managing People – Guides and motivates managers/team leaders in these departments by conducting frequent one-on-one focused discussions on their goals, challenges and issues
*Developing and Sustaining Brand Reputation and Credibility – Ensures compliance with contracts and liaise with airlines/hotel partners; Manages direct contracting with hotels and other suppliers when needed: Works with Marketing Manager to manage PR activity, work with Brand & Design manager to determine website content
Experience Required:
*Proven track record of managing and leading a successful sales team
*In depth knowledge of the Travel industry and knowledge of industry trends
*Strong leadership skills
*Confident in writing and delivering the programme strategy
*Organised with strong time management and planning skills
*Strong negotiator
*Good analytical skills
*Confident at presenting to groups of people
*Have been working in a similar role
The Salary:
With a basic salary of circa £60,000. Salary will depend on experience.
