Gas Technician

Salary: £38,506 per year

Bates & Bradshaw are recruiting on behalf of a major Construction & Maintenance company in the Hull area who operate as one of the leading building, repairs, and maintenance contractors. They are presently employing around 500 people and have a turnover of £50 million and they have some ambitious plans in place to grow this again over the coming years

Role Requirements

* To provide gas repair, maintenance and installation works to excellent standards in terms of safety, quality and cost effectiveness.

* To have outstanding diagnostic skills and a personal commitment and ability to rectify problems wherever possible in one visit resulting in the highest levels of Company, customer and client satisfaction.

* To liaise with customers to determine exact requirements, leading to the successful completion of repair, maintenance and installation work. To be professional at all times and maintain thorough lines of communication, acting as a role model to others within the Company.

* To correctly diagnose faulty appliances, systems and controls, repairing or servicing them in the most efficient and cost-effective manner whilst demonstrating a customer focused repair service

Qualifications Required

* City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 – Plumbing & Heating Engineer

* Served a Full Apprenticeship

* Gas Qualifications

* CCN1

* CEN/WAT

* CKR 1

* HTR 1

* DAH 1

* CPA 1

* Energy Efficiency

* Full Driving Licence

* MET 2

* Unvented

* CMDDA 1
