Salary: £31,200 – £32,400 per year
Our client is an international fashion wholesale business with state of the art offices and an enviable reputation for producing high fashion garments for numerous well-known brands.
An increase in business means they are looking to recruit a Garment Technologist used to working with Jersey Fabrics and/or Knitwear to join talented team that support the Senior Technologist with the process of garment sampling.
You will have 5 years plus experience and be a confident communicator.
You will be creating size specifications to customer requirements, ensuring all samples are accurately measured, attending in-house fit sessions with designers and making clear and concise reports on all these duties.
You will complete Risk Analysis to ensure all garments are made within lawful constraints and be in charge of product development to ensure that all methods, trims and components used on samples are durable.
You will be a key liaison between customers, suppliers and internal departments.
The role involves travel by car to suppliers and clients just outside London on average once a week so a car owner/driver is essential for this role but please note all travel is fully expensed.
