Life as Hammonds Installer
As a Hammonds Installer, you are responsible for transforming our customers’ homes; installing our products with pride and passion. You will be installing fitted furniture to an excellent standard, bringing customers dreams alive. As a self-employed furniture installer, you will be rewarded with all the benefits of being self-employed and managing your own diary, but without the risk and hassle of finding work, chasing payments, and carrying out surveys – we support you with a steady flow of work opportunities in the locations you wish to work.
You will get;
- £220 – £260 per day.
- Weekend working bonus payment of up to an extra £150
- All your consumables (screws/fixings/hardware) provided
- 5 weeks visibility of work schedule along with visibility of plans
- Ulez and Parking Charges covered
- Installations booked in accordance with your skill level as well as field based technical support.
- All-inclusive product training– opportunity to earn £500 when you successfully complete our residential training course

Due to operational growth, we are now recruiting for amazing Furniture Installers to join us on a self-employed/ subcontract basis and continue this incredible journey. We have opportunities available for immediate starts, but don’t worry if your current diary is booked with work, we can schedule training and start dates to suit your availability!
As a Furniture Installer you will also benefit from:
- Fast payments – 75% of your fit price is processed on the day you start the job
- Weekly Payments – payments processed and paid to you weekly in arrears
- No admin required – all jobs managed through our Hammonds fitter app
- Quarterly pay review with the opportunity to increase earnings
All that we ask is that you:
- Have 2 years fitted furniture experience and own professional quality tool kit
- First class carpentry/joinery skills. We will ask you to demonstrate your scribing ability on day 1 of the training.
- Have a full valid UK Driving licence and access to a large van (transit size)
- Access to storage space/a lock up if you live more than 25 miles from one of our Regional Service centres (Not applicable in the central London area)
