HoneyPot People Specialist Fundraising Recruitment is working on behalf of one of the region’s most prolific charities in providing a range of support and advice to service users across the local area.

At a very exciting time of development, we are recruiting for a Fundraising and Communications Manager to join a small team to manage and develop an all encompassing fundraising and communications strategy

It is a very exciting time to join the developing and expanding fundraising and communications team.
Duties will include:
• Take the lead in managing a variety of legacy, regular giving, individual donor, corporate partnership and trust fundraising activities
• Lead on a wide variety of communications and events including literature, press releases, PR, web content, social media and general marketing duties
• Cultivate existing and build new fundraising links with potential supporters

This is a fantastic role for an experienced fundraiser with communications / marketing background to join a small team and make a real impact within the community for a local charity.

Candidates must over a full UK drivers licence and their own vehicle.

Candidates will have:
• A proven track record in fundraising for local or regional causes
• Experience in working in a supporter-focussed environment
• Communications and marketing experience in relation to fundraising activities – including writing web content
• Use of social media as a fundraising/marketing tool
• Experience of writing bid / grant applications desirable
• Experience in any of the following – Event fundraising, corporate partnerships, major donor fundraising
• Excellent communications skills (including public speaking) with the ability to present information to a variety of audiences
