Functional skills tutor main duties:

•Delivering Functional Skills and employability to small cohorts of learners based within a centre in Leicester

•Planning engaging and fun sessions to keep learners motivated and on track

•Maintain a positive working environment for and learners are getting the most out of each session

•Working to overcome any barriers to learning and adapting delivery to meet learner’s needs

•Facilitating the learner journey and ensuring tasks are completed within deadline

•Be responsible for completing and maintaining appropriate internal and external quality standards

Skills and experience:

•Qualified Tutor (any of the following (PTLLS / EAT / CERT ED / PGCE)

•Previous experience delivering employability / skills for life / job search

•Ability to work with and support learners remotely

•Up to date with all relevant changes within the Training & Education sector – funding / qualifications / eligibility

•Full UK Driving license
