Salary: £36,000 per year
Front End Web Developer, Creative Packaging Products, Enfield. £36,000Basic + extensive benefits. This is a Web Development role with design input within a highly established creative packaging agency with clients including major retailers, department stores and international ‘household name’ branded product manufacturers. The role is based in Enfield so is a Shoreditch salary without the commuting cost, time and hassle and perfect for candidates living in Loughton, Enfield, Edmonton or the surrounding area.
Situated in offices with marvellous views, free parking and walking access to cafes, restaurant and the local shop, the company were established almost 20 years ago and boast some of the world’s biggest brands as major accounts. Key to their success is their e-commerce site which is both an online retail portal and a ‘shop window’ for major clients.
They are experiencing significant growth and are looking to add to their team. You will be working within a small team of e-commerce, web developers and designers and you will report directly to the technical director.
Key Requirements:
* Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, Ajax and other front end technologies
* Experience working with JavaScript, and ASP.NET
* Experience of involvement in the design and development of corporate websites
* Ideally experience of designing and developing mobile apps
* Experience of working with and debugging code written by other developers
* API experience or a willingness to develop these skills
* Good communication skills
* Passion for digital marketing and an ability to consistently find practical solutions to everyday problems
* Strong analytical skills
* High levels of commercial awareness and enjoy working in a commercial environment where you can have a ‘say’ in the direction of the business
* Have the imagination and the creativeness to design from scratch and modernise existing pages.
* A good team player with positive attitude
* High degree of enthusiasm
* Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines
* Ability to work under your own initiative.
You should be able to produce, modify and consistently be improving the e-commerce site and have terrific ‘soft skills’ as the role is regularly liaising with non-technical colleagues
