Salary: £78,000 per year
Front End Developer/Lead Engineer with strong JavaScript and React skills required by market leading SaaS company based in Edinburgh.
As part of their continued growth, they require a forward thinking Front End Developer/Engineer to own their Front End architecture of their product set that is used by household names in a range of sectors.
Location: Remote based but must be able to commute to Edinburgh as required. When restrictions are lifted expected to go to the office 2/3 times a week.
Salary: To £78,000 plus bonus scheme, share scheme and most importantly a company that values its people.
They require:
* Strong Front End software engineering background including JavaScript and React – this will include architecture and design patterns.
* Experience of building products end to end, ideally including SaaS products.
* Passionate about Front End and building high quality products.
* Excellent React, Redux and the wider React ecosystem.
* Testing knowledge including Unit, integration and e2e.
* HTML & CSS and experience with Front End tooling.
* Any TypeScript, Docker or GitLab CI would be ideal.
The role:
* Being responsible for the Front End development and architecture of leading software products.
* Lead on design decisions and drive excellence and best practice.
* Write excellent quality, high performing software.
* Mentor and develop junior members of the Front End team.
