The Company:
Our client is an international, innovative and award winning media and communication group

Main duties:
To be responsible for the production and deployment of media relations strategies and operational plans for use across multi media channels and platforms to support the business’s global communication strategy

The Role:
– To help develop and reinforce global reputations drivers
– To manage and coordinate the media relations plan
– To develop PR strategies in order to increase positive brand awareness
– To keep the company current social media presence
– To develop relationship with key global media players (journalists, publishers, editors, bloggers)
– To help protect group reputation
– To work closely with the media relation team, events and marketing teams to define target audiences and messages
– To write primary-source articles, opinion/analysis pieces for speeches, presentations and papers
– To help develop sales & business opportunities

The Candidate:
– Fluent in English and French (written and spoken) – Essential
– Previous experience in PR & Media Relationship in an agency environment – Preferred
– Knowledge of African markets – Beneficial
– Strong Communication, Marketing & Business acumen / Brand development techniques
– Autonomous & organized / driven and eager to succeed
– Excellent communication skills
– International travel occasionally required

Salary:
£48,000 pa – £45,000 pa
