Salary: £18 per hour
A leading North East based training provider employing staff across the UK is seeking to recruit flexible and self-motivated ‘Associate IT Tutors’ to work with learners covering Yorkshire
As you will focus on the delivery of IT training, you must possess a subject specialism at a minimum of Level 2 and hold a relevant teaching qualification, with PTLLS as a minimum.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare to deliver planned sessions
Accurately and efficiently mark learners work, provide robust feedback, complete associated paperwork
Provide student assignments/portfolios relevant to their learning needs, individual learning plans and learning level.
Accurately carry out reasonable appropriate administration duties
Provide educational guidance and advice where necessary with learners and staff
Manage student discipline and standards
Achieve individual KPI’s set by managers
Promote equality and diversity with delivery and working practices
Undertake appropriate learning and development activities as required for the job role and record on CPD log
Promote and ensure safe working practices in line with current health and safety legislation
Knowledge, Experience & Skills Required:
Experience in a teaching within the identified area of delivery and moderation across quarterly of provision
The chosen candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to lead and develop the curriculum, sound communications skills and the ability to work with people of all ages and capabilities is essential.
This role requires high levels of organisational skill and the ability to work independently
