, United Kingdom – My client, a Cambridge based global PLC are seeking to recruit a Fluid Path Modelling Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Key Accountabilities:
To develop analytical and numerical fluid flow modelling techniques for the Fluidics and Ink Supply System of electronic products. Validate models using existing fluid flow solutions and experimental data. Deliver efficient models for Fluidics and Ink Supply System to predict performance of new products. Develop design optimization techniques based on fluid flow and FSI models to achieve a required performance within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.

Person Specification:
You will Possess an effective and efficient approach to learning, excellent analytical and problem solving abilities with strong verbal and written communication skills. Be detail and quality conscious with a sharp focus on schedule and delivery. Have a methodical and systematic approach to work. Be a proactive and effective multi-tasker along with excellent interpersonal and cross-functional team working skills.

Qualifications:
You will ideally have a Master in Engineering, Maths or Physics with 3 to 5 years experience in development of flow models using analytical and CFD methods. Experience of application of CFD techniques to solve complex multidisciplinary engineering problems, such as droplets formation, Acoustics and Fluid Structure Interaction.

Desirable
PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Fluid Mechanics or CFD
Experience in ANSYS or Comsol
