Floating Residential Childrens Worker (Merstham / Horley)

Floating residential children’s worker required for 2 units for children with challenging behaviour and EBD based in the Merstham and Horley areas.

This role will involve working across 2 services so car driver is essential as the services are both in rural settings.

Services are for 5 and 6 children aged 11-18 who display EBD and some challenging behaviour.

You must have a flexible outlook on your role as you could be required to move locations at short notice, also you will need to have up to date working knowledge of OFSTED regulations and also be up to date on current safeguarding issues which are prominent in a residential childcare setting.

NVQ 3 is preferred but not essential as experience is also extremely valuable.
