Beechwood Financial Services is a professional firm of Chartered Financial Planners, based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. We provide financial advice to a broad range of clients regarding their Pensions, Savings, Investments and Retirement Planning. We are currently looking to recruit a Financial Services Administrator to join our busy but friendly administration team.

Financial Services Administrator Responsibilities

The role is varied but will include preparing valuations, maintaining, and updating records, liaising with pension and investment providers, processing client applications, income and withdrawal requests, meeting and greeting clients in the office as well as communicating with clients by phone and email.

Financial Services Administrator requirements

The ideal candidate will be well organised, have excellent written and spoken communication skills, possess good attention to detail, and a high standard of basic numeracy. The ability to work as part of a team and a willingness and enthusiasm to learn new skills, are equally as important. Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as good general IT skills is essential. Previous experience in office administration is required, and previous financial services experience would be an advantage, although full training will be provided.

The role is based in our Welwyn Garden City office (AL8 6NS). Office hours are Monday – Friday 9.00 – 5.30 with 1 hour for lunch. We would consider part time hours and some home working after an initial training period.

Salary range: £27,500 – £32,500, depending on experience.
