Financial Manager

Salary: £35.06 – £38.95 per hour

To cover a leave of absence, we are currently looking for a Financial Manager for our client based in Daventry.

Initial duration will be 12 months.

This role is hybrid, candidates will be required to work onsite 2 or 3 days per week.

Responsibilities include:

Supporting on-boarding partners who will utilise warehouse services and roll-out of aftermarket services to all BUs.
Experience in systems implementations is desirable
Demonstrated experience in process development and improvement
Experience in inventory and cost accounting
Collaborates with finance leaders across respective business segments to integrate systems efforts.
Manages the internal control process for finance systems; ensures that related business processes are properly documented and support a strong control environment.
Maintains a strong working relationship with Information Technology support staff; works with Finance Systems team to identify priorities, approve projects and determine scope and budget for finance systems efforts; uses the Information Technology Project Management approach.
Manages, coaches, and mentors professional staff; provides guidance and direction on problems and issues; delegates works assignments considering employee skills and development needs.
Manages the development and implementation of end-user training

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required. Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certification required.

Experience:

Significant experience required, including managerial and budgetary experience in a small operations manufacturing or distribution centre environment.
